Hi Friends,
It's a new year and time for resolutions, if you've made the same resolution several years running or you have never really been able to keep one I have a suggestion for you. Instead of making a resolution to lose twenty pounds and give up fast food, or to stop smoking and no longer allow others to influence you negatively, I suggest we simply resolve to be the best person we can be for the next year and the rest of our lives. If I'm being the best me that I can be I will naturally make good decisions about food and exercise, I can only be the best me if I make my physical and mental health a priority. When I'm operating at my best I'm above rumor and influence and I always treat others with respect and dignity because that's how I demand to be treated. I like to write a reminder of this on something i look at daily, my phone, laptop, calender, etc. when I see it and I'm straying from the proper mindset it reminds me to relax and focus on being the best me. When we focus on being the best person we can be everything else falls in line because it has to, so forget the twenty pounds or the rumor mill, simply resolve to be a better person mentally and physically.
